Workshop introduction

I spent the first half of my career dreading public speaking. Whenever I had to present at work, speak up, or contribute, I would feel a wave of anxiety. My mind would race with worries about how others were judging me, rather than focusing on the message I wanted to deliver.

Mindfulness is the only thing that has helped me. Mindfulness helped me to change my relationship with public speaking anxiety. I can now stay present in the moment and truly engage with my audience. Mindfulness has helped me bring the message I want to deliver to the foreground and quietened anxiety to the background.

In this workshop, I’ll share the practical mindfulness tools that helped me manage public speaking anxiety.

  • How anxiety and nerves can show up when speaking in public or delivering a presentation
