How mindfulness has helped me
I spent the first half of my career dreading public speaking. Whenever I had to present at work, speak up, or contribute, I would feel a wave of anxiety. My mind would race with worries about how others were judging me, rather than focusing on what I wanted to say.
Mindfulness is the only thing that has helped me. Mindfulness helped me to shift my relationship with public speaking anxiety. I can now stay present in the moment and truly engage with my audience.
Mindfulness has also improved my personal and professional relationships. It’s helped me to connect with people in a way that feels more genuine and authentic.
